The WiFi device is: Intel Corporation Centrino Advanced-N 6205 (rev 34)Īpparently I have the most recent firmware already installed, namely: /lib/firmware/iwlwifi-6000g2a-6.ucode If I open the Driver Manager, it shows an empty window with the text "No proprietary drivers in use" at the bottom.
In the Network Manager, when I click the slite lock to enable WiFi, nothing happens (it flashes "ON" for 1/10 seconds, then reverts back to "OFF"). My WiFi card was working fine with Mint 16, but doesn't work after upgrading to Mint 17 (= installing and overwriting Mint 16 with 17).
